Earlier research on parent-child relationships (approximately 3000 citations in Social Sciences Citation Index) motivated two current internet inventories--Marital Autonomy, Relatedness, and Intimacy Inventory (MARII) and Perceptions of God Inventory at:

Initial analyses show substantial correlations of factors of both methods with happiness and positive emotions.
